Pretty As A Peacock Shawl
Most people’s reaction to this shawl in person is “Stunning!” Knit from the neck to the edge, this shawl combines various lace patterns and textures to mimic the fan of a peacock’s tail. The pattern is written for approximately 1500 yds (200 m) of fingering or sport weight yarn and a US 4 (3.5mm) needle.
This beautiful beaded lace scarf is a wonderful one skein project. So that the symmetry is maintained, each side of the scarf is knit separately and joined in the middle. It knits up very quick on size US 7 (4.5mm) needles using aprox 198m of DK weight yarn.
